Flight Instruction
We provide flight instruction for the private pilot and instrument rating in our GPS equipped Cessna 172. For those unfamiliar with aircraft and their instruments, the Cessna is a 4 place, high wing, single engine aircraft.
Avionics in our aircraft include a large moving map GPS.
Traffic information, (the ability to "see" other aircraft, and their altitude and direction of flight displayed on the GPS.
Weather services within the cockpit, including radar, and weather reports, and forecasts.
This technology, previously found only in larger air transport type aircraft, was installed in the summer of 2009.
Additionally, tailwheel instruction, spin training, and limited acro (for example spins, loops, rolls, hammerheads, etc.) are provided in our Citabria.
